Broccoli makes an excellent microgreen, as it is one of the easiest crops to grow. It has a deliciously mild, fresh brocolli or cabbage flavor and makes a great garnish and addition to any microgreens salad.

Elevate your salads, sandwiches, and dishes with this dynamic blend, adding an explosion of fresh taste, boosted nutrients from a living food source, and an artistic touch to your meals.
Sunflower
Black Oil sunflower seeds are some of the best seeds for microgreens beginners. Black Oil sunflower shoots are one of the sweetest and mildest microgreens available, ideal for those new to the wonderfully diverse flavors of microgreens.
Speckled Peas
Speckled peas are particularly fine for pea shoot production. Pea sprouts are great in salads and can be eaten shortly after they "pop" or have grown their first or second set of true leaves.

Basic Salad Mix
A flavorful and colorful combination of microgreens that grow well together and can be harvested at 10 days. Contains the conventional seed types of:
Broccoli, Kale, Kohlrabi, Arugula & Cabbage.
Cilantro
Cilantro microgreens seed is actually a dried ripe fruit. This split seed has had the individual seeds separated from the multi-seed pods in which they grow naturally. Sometimes called 'monogerm cilantro', these seeds are better for precise seeding than the version still in the pod. Ideal for microgreens. Clean and deliciously fragrant.

Other Types of Microgreens

We have these seeds on hand and can grow them when asked. Keep in mind that they can take 7-21 days, depending on the variety.

Kale
Kale micros are dark green and sometimes have a bluish hue or a redish highlight.
Arugala
It's a favorite and generally considered a staple of the spicier side of microgreens and baby salad greens. The peppery taste gets less intense as it grows bigger.
Sweet Basil
Sweet basil is similar to genovese basil but with an extra hint of sweetness with notes of anise or cloves. All basil varieties are members of the mint family and are among the most popular
Beets
Beets are a more advanced microgreen, but well worth the effort because of its stunning color and bold flavor. It takes a bit more time to mature, but once grown, the bright stems and leaves look fantastic on any dish!
Carrots
Carrots can be grown as microgreens. The green top when in microgreen stage has a delightful flavor of mild sweet carrot. The texture is like dill, without any dill taste.
